Sam Homsey

Owner/President

Sam has been in the asbestos abatement business for over 40 years and has successfully managed more than 150 million dollars in abatement projects throughout the United States. His training started as a supervisor while attending college at Plymouth State University. Upon graduation he was quickly promoted through the ranks to branch manager for a nationwide abatement contractor. In 1989 Sam founded A-Best to provide the area with an asbestos abatement company dedicated to providing unapparelled service and safety. Sam maintained this vision by overseeing and controlling every division of the business from sales to operations.

Sam lives in Seabrook, NH, and enjoys spending his free time with his 3 kids John, Madison, and Cameron. You can find Sam on the beach every nice early morning with his beloved dog Tonka. Sam is also an avid Boston sports fan and gym enthusiast.

Glenn Homsey

Director of Operations

As head of operations for A-Best, Glenn brings with him 12 years of background in asbestos abatement and construction project management experience. Glenn started out in the field as an asbestos supervisor responsible for residential projects and was not long before he became the lead supervisor on a some of our biggest projects to date. Glenn now oversees the entire operations end of the business and remains very hands on in the day to day duties. This background has enabled Glenn to become highly experience in planning, scheduling, and coordination of all phases of asbestos abatement activities. Glenn’s position includes the managing of all supervisory personal, ensuring completion deadlines are met and the compliance of all state and federal regulating agencies.

Glenn was born and raised in Salem, NH, and enjoys spending time with his family. His nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles are some of the most important people in his life. Glenn and his fiancée are enjoying the wedding planning process and look forward to buying their first home together. Glenn’s close relationship with his family is directly reflected in the family mindset he instills in his coworkers here at A-Best.

Karen Susi

Senior Project Manager/Account Manager

Karen brings 25 years of accounting and business management experience to A-Best. Karen strives to make customer service her main priority. She is unique in her ability to care to any and all needs of clients, and employees. Karen is also in charge of all office personnel. She assures that the administrative end of A-Best runs just as smoothly as the field and prides herself on her ability to relate to people and to keep them feeling at ease even while solving really tough problems. While working at A-Best Karen has learned the abatement industry and has transitioned herself as one of our most dependable Project Manager/Estimator we have.

Karen enjoys spending time with her 6 children, and her husband Craig. Karen loves the summertime and when she is not working at A-Best you can find Karen cruising down the street on her Harley playing country music.

Jorge Tello

Senior Project Superintendent

Jorge is the longest standing employee at A-Best, with 28 years of continued service. He is the true back bone of the teams in the field, leading crews of 30 men and women by example every day. He is an extremely task oriented individual and looks forward to the day to day challenges that his career brings him. Jorge seeks out and executes the toughest jobs and continues to challenge himself every year. He completes jobs safely and timely, while inspiring his coworkers to be the best they can be. His drive and dedication are truly unmatched by anyone in the industry.

Jorge has two daughters continuing their healthcare education in Boston. In his free time, he enjoys staying busy by
completing hands on tasks at rental properties that he owns in the Merrimack Valley. He also enjoys spending time with his wife of many years.

Brandon

Estimator/ Project Manager

Brandon has a well-rounded background in the environmental field. From his 8 years as an operations manager in a fast-paced emergency mitigation company to 7 years as a project manager/estimator with a different abatement firm. He has a vast knowledge on how to identify causes for microbial growth and piece together a mitigation plan to not only removing the growth but to prevent it from returning in the future. In navigating the last 15 years within the environmental industry, Brandon has relied explicitly on attention to detail and strong communication, to provide clients, with peace of mind knowing their issue has been resolved.

When not working Brandon can be found in one of many hockey arenas all over new England coaching his son’s hockey team! He also enjoys golfing, skiing, the beach, and time with family. Brandon is a die-hard Bruins fan. Brandon and his wife Kathryn have two young children and reside in Bedford, NH.
